North Beach: Joey & Eddie’s (1652 Stockton), the endangered North Beach eatery that we heard might be on the market back in April, might become the new Original Joe’s, according to the Scoop. The two are in talks, but we don’t know what this means for the city grant that Joe’s won to renovate their signage on Taylor Street. [Chron/Scoop]
Noe Valley: The coffee shop inside Spin City Laundrette (26th and Sanchez) has been revived by way of Blue Bottle. [Noe Valley SF]
Mission: Remember the story about À Côté owner Jack Knowles scooping up the whole New College complex? For one of the spaces he’s trying to bring in an off-shoot of New Orleans jazz venue Preservation Hall. [Chron/Scoop]

Cole Valley: Ashbury Market (205 Frederick) is hosting street food vendors inside the store on Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. Tonight’s menu includes a shaved zucchini and pecorino salad and grilled marinated chicken from SF Delicious, and madeleines from Mad4Madeleines. [SFoodie]
Embarcadero: Gott’s has a “secret” menu including a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich and a “fish royale” sandwich. Not a secret anymore! [Food Gal]
Also, don’t forget that Saturday is the High on the Hog event at Epic Roasthouse. Get tickets here. [Grub Street]
Fort Mason: Also on Saturday is the 10th annual BreastFest and Beer Festival, featuring tastings from over 60 breweries, benefiting breast cancer research. Tickets are $45. [Grub Street]
And on Sunday, as we mentioned earlier, there’s the first American Lamb Jam. Tickets are $50, and you can still get them here. [Grub Street]
Yountville: Étoile at Domaine Chandon is hosting a special dinner on August 1 with assistant still wine maker Joel Burt, featuring three courses for $95 paired with sparkling and still wines. Make reservations here.
