Earlier this week we heard talk that Eddie Huang wanted to stage a bao-off with S.F. upstart bao truck Chairman Bao, who are using the name of his most popular menu item at Baohaus for their NorCal operation. The showdown now has a time and place: Oakland’s Eat Real Fest, August 27-29, when Huang will helm Le Truc and sling his Chairman Bao buns side by side with Chairman Bao. It’s on.
