Chef Amy Murray, who already operates Venus in downtown Berkeley, softly opens her new restaurant Revival Bar + Kitchen (2102 Shattuck Avenue at Addison) in the former Downtown space this evening. The restaurant’s actually playing host to a release party for Temra Costa’s new book Farmer Jane: Women Changing the Way We Eat, which profiles 26 women in the sustainable food industry. Revival officially opens its doors tomorrow on Tuesday night for dinner.

In Amy’s words, the restaurant will feature “artisan cocktails, handmade delicacies from local growers, happy charcuterie, and thoughtfully prepared California food in a revived 1901 classic building.”
