Considering the fact that almost every chef we know would love to open a place in the Mission, the news that this halfway remodeled space at the corner of 19th and Lexington (half a block from Valencia) is up for grabs should be welcome. Grub Street finds it today listed on Craigslist by a fellow named Norman who was planning to open a restaurant here but the “money dried up.” He’d be open to a partnership, or he’d like to sell the lease to somebody outright. Perhaps these chefs without homes should jot down this number: 650-267-0295.
