Back in February Grub Street told you about The Opener, the new show on the Food Network starring David Adjey in the role of rookie restaurant coach. It now comes to our attention via Eater that a couple of locals have been cast for an episode’s worth of humiliation: Kai Vance and Todd Slosek, proprietors of the upcoming Unwind on Union which is going into the former Pasta Pomodoro space. They’re aiming for a June opening, but the show won’t air until the fall. Best of luck not being edited to look like fools, boys.
