Opening Monday is Royal Grounds' rumored next-door wine bar and restaurant, Dunyā (1609 Polk Street), in the former Casablanca Café space. The name, Grub Street learns, is Arabic and denotes the temporal world, and all one's earthly life and possessions, as opposed to the spiritual world beyond. The earthly food menu, from chef Remy Bernabe (formerly of Masa's and Il Pirata), includes grilled Colorado lamb chops with fresh feta couscous, and a pomegranate BBQ sauce that makes it onto an herb-roasted chicken and a New York steak.
