A new Italian joint is opening soon at 409 Gough Street (formerly Breezy's, and before that The Blue Muse), and via a liquor license application we see that it's been given the unfortunate name of Ristorante Allegro. This appears to be a first restaurant venture for an entity called Zira Brothers Enterprises, and we wish that they would maybe call in a consultant about the whole naming thing. Ristorante Allegro? You really think that's going to fly in San Francisco? Why not just call it Crapitto's like this place in Houston?
UPDATE: Eater discovers that these Zira Brothers own a slightly shady valet service in North Beach and one of them is friends with Willie Brown. [Eater]
