What better way to taste those hints of black cherry and leather in your Pinot than with a blindfold on, wrists bound, and alternately biting down on some rope? On January 23rd, women-focused LGBTQ arts space Femina Potens is hosting “an erotic wine tasting and rope testing” event in which dominants can stand by and sip while submissives get bound and gagged and made to drink from dog bowls for educational purposes. We realize this is still more than a month off, but attendance is limited to 30 people and it will likely sell out. As SFist notes, tickets are $50, but for $75 single patrons are entitled to their very own submissive for the evening, and the dress code is “fetish, formal, lingerie, or nudity.” Somehow we think the wine tasting part is beside the point.
