The lame-duck San Francisco Brewing Co has finally shut its doors to make way for Comstock, the new project from the Absinthe people. As Eater notes, the brewery had previously said they would continue to serve beer til they ran out. It took some time, but it finally happened.

In happier news, SFoodie notes that the latest street food to hit Hayes Valley will be a ramen truck debuting this weekend. Shirohige Ramen-Ya is due to serve from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the corner of Hayes and Laguna streets, across from Suppenkuche. Maybe now they should start calling it SLURPpenkuche? Eh? No, Suppenkuche is better.
