Nombe Opens Tonight in the Mission

As you know, Nombe opens tonight, bringing Izakaya food to the Mission District. Starting at 6 p.m. you can taste the latest Japanese pub grub from former Sozai owners Gil Payne and Mari Takahashi, and former O Izakaya Lounge chef Nicolaus Balla. In true modern San Francisco style, their menu of Japanese bar snacks is made with locally sourced ingredients, and the shochu cocktails are made with organic, seasonal produce. The late-night window will serve okonomiyaki, takoyaki, oden, ramen, and other Japanese street food from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. on weekends.

Nombe, 2491 Mission St., nr. 21st St., San Francisco; 415-681-7150
