La Boulange is opening today in all its purple glory over in Noe Valley, and we knew Noe Valley Buzz would be down to party (they’ve been counting down the days). Too bad the shindig happens around the time our sainted grandparents would be getting down in their retirement home. Understandably, the Buzz folks are peeved they can’t go to the 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. opening jam: “Too bad many of us have to work. geez.” Eh, there will be plenty more chances to trip over strollers while nibbling on baked goods. Welcome to the neighborhood, “La Bou.”
