Joe DiMaggio's Chophouse for Sale?

After last week's news that Acme Chophouse will close by the end of the year, Scoop brings fresh rumors that Joe DiMaggio's Italian Chophouse is up for sale. This is just not a great year to be in the chophouse business. JD's owner Jeff Dudum told the Chron he just wants to "grow the brand." He said, "We're absolutely not closing the restaurant and we're absolutely not shopping it around." But it's not like he would admit it if he was.
