Il Cane Rosso Goes Family-Style Nightly

The weekly family-style suppers at Il Cane Rosso will now be available daily after they proved too popular to restrict to just Sunday Night. Chef Doug Borkowski will do a different three-course dinner option each night, based on ingredients available at farmers’ markets and their usual lineup of freakishly local/sustainable/virtuous suppliers. The deal is simple: An appetizer, a main, and a dessert, served communally, for $25 a person. And because it’s family-style, children eat for $12.50. Check out a couple recent menus below.

Mariquita Farm baby leeks with Dijon vinaigrette, breadcrumbs and grated farm egg
Marin Sun Farms fresh ham with glazed carrots
Chocolate budino with whipped cream

Star Route Farms arugula with roasted beets, oranges and orange-balsamic vinaigrette
Marin Sun Farms slow-cooked brisket with garlicky rapini greens
Devoto Orchard pink lady apple crisp with vanilla soft serve
