Election Season

Show Dogs Debuts Political Hot Dog

Show Dogs has gotten all political with its menu, introducing its new Proposition D dog to promote a city measure allowing new billboards and theater marquees in the mid-market district where it is located. If that seems obscure to you, remember that Show Dogs’ owners, who also own Foreign Cinema, have a new, 240-seat restaurant planned for 988 Market St., also in the proposed new sign district. The political hot dog includes a Fatted Calf organic duck sausage, Dijon mustard, and daikon sprouts. It will be available tomorrow through election day, Nov. 3.
