Be on Top Chef, or Just Live in the House

Reality television aspirants don’t forget: Bravo is holding an open casting call for Top Chef season seven this Sunday at The Parlor. You can apply by mail as late as Nov. 16, but if you’ve got your tape ready you can bring it and your application down to Fisherman’s Wharf to drop it off in person from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. And if you just love Top Chef but aren’t cut out for it yourself, perhaps you’d settle for living in one of the cast’s previous abodes. According to Curbed, the house from season one (San Francisco), is on the market and the price has been slashed by $645,000. It’s still at $3.25 million, though, so if you’re not a famous TV chef you’d better be a high-flying mortgage broker or a dot-com venture capitalist. Or something.
