U.S. Comes in Second in Taipei

A team of five local chefs from the Asian Chefs Association took silver at the World Culinary Contest in Taipei, Taiwan last week. The team, made up of Philippe Striffeler of Anzu, Scott Whitman of Sushi Ran, Arturo Moscoso of the Inn at Spanish Bay, Ty Mahler of Roy’s, and Damon Bartham of the California Culinary Academy, was lauded for its presentation and innovation, according to SF Weekly.
