That’s It Market Officially Blown Up

After the San Francisco No Reservations episode aired Monday, we expressed a hint of nervousness that some of his destinations would become overrun (“blown up,” as the kids would say). Well, most of the places he visited are already pretty high profile, but our old 1:55 a.m. beer-run stalwart That’s It Market was on no foodie’s radar before Bourdain hit it. Now, it’s officially blown up. Employee Hasan Homran told us, “the last couple of days there have been a lot of people coming in. They all, well, most of them, order the Cuban sandwich (which is what Tony got).” Homran didn’t want to estimate the sales because he only works the day shift. “After 5 p.m. the owner comes in. I don’t even know how many they sell then.” But most people who stop by have been mentioning they saw the place on No Reservations. Thanks, Tony.
