Dine Al Fresco in the Fog Belt

Okay, we admit it. We don’t get out to the Richmond that often. We’re those kinds of Mission-downtown-Haight-NoPa jerks that give the rest of the city short shrift. But we’re inclined to head northwest a bit more often now with the help of the handy guide to outdoor dining that ran on Richmond SF yesterday. On the rare days when the weather’s nice, we always find ourselves casting about for where to go to eat al fresco, but now we know that Pizzetta 211 has almost as many outside tables as inside, and that the Tal-y-Tara Tea & Polo Shop exists. Also, look at how extravagant the garden is at Bazaar Cafe, and how big the patio at Bill’s Place. If only heading to the Richmond didn’t mean a trip on the 38 to battle fog, we’d consider becoming regulars.
