Way back in April, the French Laundry announced that Chef de Cuisine Corey Lee would be leaving the restaurant in order to pursue his own venture. Today, Scoop reported that he’s made his exit right on Schedule. Timothy Hollingsworth will take over the position at French Laundry, but Lee’s future is a little more uncertain. He’s always said he wants to open a restaurant in San Francisco, but he told the Chron that finding a space has been difficult, “”which you wouldn’t think would be the case in this economy.” Still, he’s aiming for a Spring opening.
