As the politically connected restaurateur prepares to appeal the city's finding that his roof-deck violates zoning laws, the Examiner floated the rumor that Mayor Gavin Newsom and Supervisor Sean Elsbernd will attend a fundraiser there next Tuesday for Plan C, a political action committee lobbying for easier condo conversions.
