A commenter tipped us off that the giant tomato that used to adorn the Third Street facade of Vino e Cucina, and which we reported yesterday was up for sale, has been sold.
"It was sold to a friend of the original creator; so it's going to a loving new home," the anonymous internet user reported. That's good enough for us. We're calling this saga happily ended.
Now somebody go turn in the Mr Pickles thief.
