Burrito Justice stands up not only for beleaguered burrito trucks, but also for Thai restaurants. Unfortunately, even the support of that defender of casual foodstuffs doesn't seem to have saved Suriya Thai from being ground under the wheel of the rental market.
The restaurant on that odd stretch of Valencia after 24th and before Caesar Chavez reportedly moved out Sunday, an eviction notice taped to the door. Commenter Dr. Memory, who first reported the uprooting after walking by the guys hauling out furniture, says,
For what it’s worth, I did ask the man who seemed to be in charge whether they were likely to re-open in a new location, and he said “maybe, I hope so.”So do we, guy. So do we.
