New Old-Fashioned Noodles In The Sunset

The Tablehopper alerted us to a new hand-pulled Chinese noodle place in the Sunset, King of Noodles, that really piques our curiosity. If you've never had hand-pulled noodles, you really should. They're way good and are really fun to watch being made. Here's a description from a review we wrote (but never published) of our visit to Super Taste, in New York City — the only time we've had our noodles yanked by hand:
These guys get crazy with their noodle-making. There's this guy in the back just twisting and stretching and flinging a large rope of dough around. He stretches it out to arms' length, then flings the center upward and slaps it down on the counter while holding each end. Eventually, he pulls it out into strands, creating the noodles that had just filled us to bursting. We stood mesmerized while the cashier rang us up ($14 for two noodle soups, one order of dumplings and a bottle of water). It was unclear from the Chowhound thread on King of Noodles whether you can get a look at the noodle-making process. We did find a neat description of the noodles themselves:
Those looking for lucky noodles that are yards long would be thrilled by these, because they were so long we couldn't manage to separate out individual servings! After giving us time to properly appreciate them, the waiter reappeared with scissors and offered to cut them up a bit, which made for easier eating. It seems this place is owned by the same family that operates Kingdom of Dumpling, so it comes from a good pedigree.
