High-larious: Boxes of Kellogs' Corn Flakes with Michael Phelps' face on the front — the very same as the ones that were donated en mass to the San Francisco Food Bank earlier this week in the wake of the Phelps bong-hit scandal — are showing up for sale on Ebay.
Not only did we find eight boxes for sale on the auction site (including one at the Buy It Now price of $24.99), we found three people seeking out the boxes on Craigslist.
Is this some kind of bold new economic recovery plan, where those at the bottom of the income scale get food donated, but then the food turns out to be collectible and the savvy recipients flip box after box of Cornflakes for a tidy profit? Hell, one could do worse in these times.
